It started innocently with this small gray space.. |
I got out my box of paint and started to mix a blue colour that was *Oceany* |
I had been sketching in my journal and used it for reference on the design.. |
After an few hours, I had the basic design layed out, and ready to *Detail* in. |
Added a picture of Diamond Head at the door, and *slippah's* very, Hawaiian!!. |
I decided to change the flowers to Blue, It's my favorite colour..like the Ocean. |

while I was *inside* I decided to Paint the bottom of a cabinet I'd build for the space in SunnyBus, I love the little Bus Handles :).. I painted the Bottom with a beach scene and surfboard..nothing like a relaxing time at the beach... |
I tried to get a close up of it, but the camera focused on the BLUE SHAG RUG and it got in the way..lol. |
Ok, this one's a little better, the space behind it stores my Stove and camp gear..It's held on by strong magnetic catches.. |
The inside of my bus, I recovered the interior Panels in Hawaiian fabric as they were a little ruff, and made some new curtains, a padded bed quilt, cause I like softness :) and a few pillows.. |
I also made a T-Quilt out of old VW event tshirts That *MAMABUS*: Ms Casey, gave me the idea for, Thanks :)...Ok back to painting.. |
I got courage to do the passenger side first, Peace, Love and Dreams.. |
I painted a white Peace sign with flowers spilling over it, a big Star to wish on and a Heart for Love..I'll Detail them later when the paint cures.. |
I painted the night sky with a small human looking up at the heavens.. He is sitting on top of the Earth gazing u at the stars..(thanks to the CosmicWiz for such inspiration :).. ) |
The Stars are the constillations seen in the Sky during September, I started with Virgo (As Im one..) and painted the others in according to thier position, so I can teach Mr Dan to recognise the Stars.. :) The Planet is Jupiter(My Favorite..) and the words..*Isn't it Awesome, we are never alone* along the bottom.. |
I painted the Silvery moon over a quiet Ocean and Palm Tree to hold the signs..which will mark SunnyBus's tour as she travels America. I need to let it dry for 3 dys before detailing.. |
I took sunny outside after almost finishing the block work on her passenger side, I still need to do details on *Green Man* and the surf scene at back.. |
