The Ferry.. The 4 hour drive from Dayton to Kelley's Ferry was peaceful.. But with the signs directing us to the Ferry, I could feel the excitment building !! We paid our $42.00 RT. ( $22 for SunnyBus, and $10 each for us) to the Island, and lined up behind the other cars. Mel and Shelia pulled up a few minutes later, follwed by Richard, Rod & Crystal, Then the Carabus with John and the Tribe pulled onto the dock. We all loaded onto the ferry and Enjoyed the ride.. Ted handed out Oeur-Deurves (celery sticks..lol)to the Tribe, while I snapped off a few pictures of MarbleHead lighthouse and Cedar Point Park on the Horizon. I met the Brother of the owner of the Island Brewery on the Ferry and he convinced us to come down for a few cool ones and dinner later.. With Seaway Marina getting closer, we all returned to our Buses to being a Great weekend on Kelley's Island.
