....Ever get cabin fever just waiting for camping season to begin?

That was my mood by April. I wanted to get out of the house and enjoy the rites of spring !! I was counting the minutes, watching the clock to see if it secretly stopped time while not under my close scrutiny.. I noticed that I was mindlessly adding and removing things from SunnyBus that I might need for a campout... With about a week to go to EveryBus, I was pacing the floor...

It was a cold 50 something outside, trying to drizzle, I pulled SunnyBus into the garage and sat down in front of her. What would brighten her ( & me) up until EB? PAINTJOB!! I decided to paint a **Lei flower** necklace on her. I missed Hawaii and wanted a reminder from my islands.. I will take SunnyBus to the Ocean one day. While I painted, I thought about EB coming up..

Why EveryBus?

Well, I wanted to go for a few reasons. First and foremost, for SunnyBus. I wanted to visit Flow Motor's in Winston Salem, where she was first sold. I wanted to discover the 4 bus pilots that had Sunny Before me, and get their stories... I wanted to meet all the crazy, sweet VW people like me, who were drawn to this Bus gathering.

I wanted to get re-aquainted with the special VW folks with whom camping friendships had been forged, but winter's blanket had caused them to lay dormant over the cold season. They were calling to be renewed as Gaia blossomed into spring..
