Shower..

This is one of my favorite pieces of Art by Devorah Sperber, it debuted at the Graham Gallery, NYC, March 2002 .
..Stare carefully into the viewing device and you catch a glimpse of beautiful Art..It is shimmering and transparent. A common plastic shower curtain is suspended on a rectangular rack. There is a discernible pattern of color, and a closer look reveals the colorful plastic flower appliqués-at least 60,000 of them attached one by one by the artist. The abstract pattern, when seen as a reflection in a fisheye Hupcab Mirror on the wall, morphs into a boxy hippie-era Volkswagen bus
*60,000 Chartpak film flowers, clear vinyl shower curtains, aluminum rod... 75" H x 63" W x 136" D.. and you can have one too :)
