When in Venice..I always wondered how you'd drive a VW in Venice?? Isn't it Kewl !! This neat wooden bug is owned and designed by Architect Livio De Marchi who is driving his floatable Volkswagen sculpture : SOUNDBITE De Marchi (true Italian). In Febuary 1999 he created this floating wooden car “Volkswagen Beetle”,and it was shown at the Art fair Kunst RAI in June 1999 and in June-July 1999 a personal exhibition was shown at the Galerie Lieve Hemel.
